Brighton & Hove Albion FC The Seagulls are my local team, i have followed them since 1979. I was there at the 1984 FA Cup Final when they should have beaten Man Utd. Some great moments and if i had a choice i would put the Seagulls over the Toffees, but it would be a close thing. |

Everton FC I've followed Everton since i saw them on TV in the 1968 Cup Final. Through thick and thin, ups and downs, the Toffees have always played good football. 1984-1987 were the best years. |
Alain Sutter (soccer player)- Grasshopper, Freiberg, Bayern Munich & Switzerland I first saw Alain Sutter against Erie in a friendly, where he scored from a free kick 40 yards out. Magnificent in the 1984 world cup finals for Switzerland, scoring a brilliant goal against Romania. Exciting, unpredictable, talented and amazing to watch, Alain Sutter is one of the greats and with a few better breaks would have made it right to the top. |

Alan Ball (soccer player)- Everton & England Alan Ball was the heart of Everton. Fast, brilliant and consistently good, Alan was the complete midfielder. |
Marc Surer - Racing Driver - Swiss Marc Surer was a magnificent Formula 1 driver. Due to lack of sponsorship he drove for the smaller teams in Formula 1, but even then he managed to perform. He never gave up and was excellent in wet driving conditions. Had to retire when he nearly lost his life in a rallying accident. He was the true spirit of motor racing, in it because of his love for it and always performing at his best. |

Joe Lydon (Rugby League player) - Widnes & Wigan Joe was the greatest Rugby player i ever watched. His tackling was immense and he was like lightning, scoring many try's with sheer pace. I remember watching him playing for Wigan at Salford, when he produced one brilliant tackle after another, he was a one man team. During a Semi-final cup game against Warrington at Maine road, i watched him score a drop goal from his just inside his OWN half. He was the greatest, without a doubt. |

Jonathon Davies (Rugby Union & Leagur player). Sorry Jonathon if you read this, but you come a close second to Joe. Still it was magnificent to watch Jonathon during his time at Warrington. Fast, skillful and with a great kicking game. It was never uneventful when he played, he to was a great player. |
